The Fourth Easy Biz Friday Held on November 21, 2025
On November 21, the fourth HSM Easy Biz Friday was held at Kuglana Grmoščica in Zagreb – a business gathering that brought together entrepreneurs, managers and professionals from various industries through two themed panel discussions and informal networking.
Unlike traditional business conferences, Easy Biz Friday was designed as a smaller, focused event where participants could genuinely get to know one another, exchange ideas and discuss the topics shaping today’s business environment.

Technology, people and the future
The first panel, titled “A Look into the Future – Between Technology and People”, opened the official part of the program. Moderator Aleksandar Stanković led a discussion with Predrag Pale and Boris Trupčević, who offered the audience a broad perspective on how technology is changing the world and which human skills will become essential over the next decade, especially when it comes to education and young people.
The discussion addressed the rapid pace of technological change and its growing role in shaping both business and society. It also raised the question of how to strike the right balance between technological progress and the human factor – two forces that may sometimes appear to be in opposition, but in practice need to work together.
Pale emphasized the importance of understanding long-term trends and investing in knowledge, while Trupčević highlighted the need for critical thinking, creativity and personal responsibility in a world that is evolving faster than ever.
The panel concluded that the success of individuals and organizations will depend on their ability to keep pace with technology while continuously strengthening human skills, as it is precisely this combination that enables sustainable progress.

Entrepreneurial and managerial mindsets in practice
The second panel, “Entrepreneur and Manager – Between Vision and Structure”, brought together Ante Mandić, Sven Marušić and moderator Roko Kalafatić. The discussion explored two different approaches to running a business: entrepreneurial vision and managerial structure.
The panel examined how to balance entrepreneurial energy with managerial stability – two approaches that are often seen as contrasting, but in practice depend on one another. Mandić emphasized the importance of acting quickly, taking risks and recognizing opportunities “while they are still invisible”, while Marušić pointed out that without clear structures, processes and team organization, no idea can achieve sustainable long-term growth.

The panel concluded that successful companies are created precisely at the intersection of these two mindsets: entrepreneurs open the way with their vision, while managers make that path sustainable and scalable.
Following the panel discussions, participants continued networking over lunch in the informal and relaxed atmosphere of Kuglana Grmoščica. Many pointed out that this combination of serious business topics and a friendly setting is exactly what makes Easy Biz Friday different and valuable.
This year’s Easy Biz Friday once again confirmed that some of the best conversations happen in smaller, carefully designed formats. The focus on meaningful content, high-quality panel discussions and genuine connections once again demonstrated the direction in which HSM aims to build its business community – authentically, connected and with a clear view toward the future.
